Who Am I?

Well my friend, I ask myself that every day. hah. Just kidding–kind of. The name is Emma Welling. I’m just a young person trying to find my place in this changing world. Because letsbehonest, it ain’t easy navigating through life’s shenanigans. I love music, I play the guitar, piano (terribly), cajon, and I sing. I frequently find myself disc golfing, netflixing, and napping. My favorite pastime is cruising down some country roads…or really driving in general.

What’s The Blog Name All About?

I’m super weird. I’m crazy. Sometimes a little too loud. I’m unique. Some people say I remind them of Dory from Finding Nemo. Compliment or Insult? I dunno. I enjoy making situations awkward just for the sake of awkwardness. I’m not afraid to make a fool of myself in public. And yeah, I’m really loud.
Basically to describe me in a nutshell, I’m abnormal. Though I wish my abnormalities didn’t have such a negative connotation in our society. I’m an abnormal person trying to live in a normal world. But letsbehonest, how normal is this place…? Exacttttttttlyyyyy. Point in case.

What Do You Write About?

Anything that pops into my mind. It could be serious. It could be funny. Some days I need to rant about the stigma on mental illnesses. Other days I need to share an embarrassing story. Being extremely ADHD, you never know what to expect with me. So that’s cool, I guess. I write about life, how I’m surviving in this place, and about my [ab]normal self. If it’s not your cup of tea, that’s okay, I think tea is dirty water anyway. If it is, great! But I might have to convert you into the coffee world….just sayin’.
